Water/Methanol Injection

Scroll Prev Top Next More

Dedicated output function for external water/methanol activation with the option to correct the fuel calculation to lower the regular fuel pulse.

Water/methanol Injection

start MAP

MAP above this value will activate the output.

LEvel sensor

Specifies whether the external water/methanol controller has Water/Methanol Injection, low-level sensor or not, and how it should be used when active.

Disabled - No low-level sensor exist or not used.

Error code - When the low-level sensor is active, MaxxECU will produce the ECU error code 81 - Water/Methanol Injection, low-level, but the output will continue to be active and no further action will be taken.

Error code, base boost and stop pump - When the low level sensor is active, the active boost table will be 0 and the water/methanol output will be deactivated.

fuel correction

fuel correction

Adjust the fueling to account for the amount of methanol delivered to the engine. When enabled it will reduce the regular fuel pulse to take into account the below methanol flow.

fuel correction delay

Specifies delay before the fuel correction starts to allow the pump to build pressure.

Methanol flow table

Table which specifies the flow (liters per hour) of pure methanol delivered by the water/methanol injection system. This is used to lower the injector duty.

Note: the actual output will listen to the MAP only, regardless of engine RPM or any other condition.
