H-Bridge

When output is off/disabled, the output is grounded.

When output is on/activated, the output is +12V.

Note: H-bridge are useful for driving motors in both directions, otherwise you never use this type of output.

Low driving (GND)

When output is off(disabled, the output is not connected.

When output is on/activated, the output is grounded.

High driving (+12V)

When output is off/disabled, the output is not connected.

When output is on/activated, the output is +12V.

Note: GPO 8 on all ECUs has a 660ohm pullup to either +5V or +12V (selectable in software)

Wiring a led to a GPO

Wiring a LED to a GPO can cause the LED to "always be a bit on" cause of the leak current, by adding a ~120ohm/3W resistor in series with the LED it will solve the problem.
