MaxxECU online help

User PWM

Description

Name of the output.

rate setting

Select if you want to set the frequency directly in Hertz, or to use a period time in ms.

frequency (Hz) - Output the frequency directly from the Hz table.

period (ms) - Useful for lower frequencies where it gives a higher resolution.

Frequency

Output frequency, 5 - 500Hz.

period

Period time, 1-5000ms.

On condition

Activation condition off the output.

Not used (always used) - No condition is needed for the output to work.

Enabled - Activate condition is needed for the output to work, see activation condition below.

100% condition

Enable or disable the 100% duty output condition.

Activation condition

When the above setting On condition = Enabled, this is used as the on condition for the function to output.

Note: Any RealTime Data value can be used as a condition to start the function.

Example

clip0360

In the above example the output is activated when the engine RPM is greater than 60 RPM (engine cranking or started).

100% condition

When the 100% condition is met, the duty table (see below) is discarded and an 100% duty output is activated.

Example

clip0361

In the above example an PWM output with 100% duty at specific frequency is sent to the output and the below duty table values are discarded.

Duty table

The output duty table. As any other user table in MaxxECU, all axis sources are changeable to suit your need.
